3-9-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to further intensify during next 24 hrs. Thereafter, it is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 48 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate in the Andaman Sea and  Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 9th September, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions, Kachin, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Mon State.
