1-12-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards weaken into a Deep Depression and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 40 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Channei. It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) and may weak into Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair in the Andaman Sea, cloudy in Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States. STATE OF THE SEA:  Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 -14)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
