1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay  and vigorous elsewhere in Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate to rough elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9 -14)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and about (6-9)feet in Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
