1-12-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards weaken into a Deep Depression and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 40 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Channei. It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) and may weak into Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair in the Andaman Sea, cloudy in Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfall in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 – 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
