1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate  over the Andaman Sea and  the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22nd July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw,  Lower Sagaing,  Mandalay and  Magway Regions, Chin and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Kayin States. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times  off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30) m.p.h. Wave height weill be about (7– 9) feet off and along Myanmar  Coasts.
