BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere in Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 01st July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and Magway Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, Deltaic, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 – 10) feet in Gulf of Mottama, Deltaic, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (6-8) feet in off and along Rakhine coasts.
