1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and  Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 06th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady  and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 –13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
