SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Magway Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Northern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Mon States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Thandwe (7.09)inches, Ann (6.58)inches, Maungdaw (6.38)inches, Launglon (5.59)inches, Taungkok (5.47)inches, Zaung Tu (4.88)inches, Dawei (4.61)inches, Myauk U (4.53)inches, Tharrawady (4.45)inches, Zalun (4.06)inches, Hmawbi (Agro-Met) (3.66)inches, Kyauktaw (3.35)inches, Chaungsone (3.27)inches, Myitkyina (3.23)inches and Kyaukpyu (3.11)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Bago Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States.
