 BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing,  Magway and Taninthayi Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 – 12)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (4 – 7)feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Rakhine coastal areas.
