SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Eastern Shan and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kyauktaw (2.48)inches, Tharrawady (2.20)inches, Launglon (1.65)inches, Naypyitaw Airport (Ela) (1.26)inches, Pyinoolwin (1.22)inches, Hmawbi (1.06)inches, Okkan (0.98)inch, Hpa-an(Agro-Met) (0.94)inch and Kungyangon and Myeik (0.90)inch each.

 BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, scattered in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Eastern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and  Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4–8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of withdrawal of Southwest monsoon from Central Myanmar areas.
