SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kayah State, scattered in Magway and Bago Regions, Kachin and Chin States, fairly widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Lower Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Mon State and isolated heavy falls in Ayeyarwady Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Chaungsone (13.86)inches, Mudon (6.97) inches, Mawlamyine (4.76)inches, Natogyi (4.30)inches, Kyeikmayaw (3.89)inches, Thaton (3.74) inches, Kyaukse (3.65)inches, Bellin (3.39)inches, Hainggyikyun (3.31)inches, Minkin (3.11)inches, Shwebo (3.03)inches and Myingyan (2.51)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th October, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Mon State.
