23-10-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Tamil Nadu coast, India) has moved Northwestwards and crossed North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weakened into a Low pressure area during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to fall below the present water levels about (1½- 2) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo and Katha, and about (2½-3) feet at Mandalay and Sagaing, and  about (4-5) feet at  Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo ,Chauk ,Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to fall below the present water levels about (1-2) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaung Pyin, and about (2½-3) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Mingin and Monywa.
