 25-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 18 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to cross Genetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and

Southeast Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th July, 2016: Rain or

thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin,

Chin, Kayin and Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and

States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of decrease of

rain in Upper Sagaing, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and

Northern Shan States.
