13-5-2025: Southwest monsoon has advanced into the Southern Myanmar areas, Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

(Issued at 12:00 hrs M.S.T on 22-8-2020)

   According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at NyaungOo is observed as about (2) feet below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next (3) days.

   It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas at NyaungOo Township to take precaution measure.
