1-12-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts almost stationary and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 75 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today,a low pressure area has formed over westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and feeble elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd September, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Shan State, scattered in Lower Sagaing,  Mandalay and Magway Regions and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady  Regions, Chin and  Kayah States and  widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Magway  and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.
