25-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 18 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to cross Genetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (6)miles southwest of Thabeikkyin), latitude 22.83°N, longitude 95.89°E, depth (10)kilometers, about (35)miles southeast of Kanbalu seismological observatory was recorded at (13)hr (26)min (42)sec M.S.T on 5th December, 2020.
