26-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 415 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 405 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 430 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from the Central Bay of Bengal and Deltaic areas. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States, scattered in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Nyaunglaybin (2.71)inches, Kengtung (1.96)inches, Ngathayauk (1.69)inches, Tagaung (1.57)inches, Taunggyi (1.46) inches, Kyaukpyu (1.15)inches, Hainggyikyun (1.10)inches, Heho (1.06)inches, Loikaw and Thaton (0.94)inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd October, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.
