25-10-2025:According to the observations at 11:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Westwards and further intensified into a depression. It is centered at about 330 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 530 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 540 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a deep depression on 26-10-2025 and Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining over Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather have been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region,  Kayin and  Mon States, isolated heavy falls in Magway and Bago Regions. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Kawkayeit (6.06)inches, Shwegyin (5.59)inches, Mawlamyine (4.40)inches, Natogyi (4.10)inches, Myawady and Kyeikkhame (3.90)inches each, Belin (3.70)inches, Paung (3.11)inches, Madauk (2.87)inches, Saw (2.47) inches, Myingyan and Myaungmya (2.20)inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th October, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Shan (North and East) States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Southern Shan and Chin Stats, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Bago Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
