 25-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 18 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to cross Genetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th October, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin and Northern Shan States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and (Eastern and Southern) Shan State,fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in Southern Myanmar areas.
