12-12-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Sri Lanka Coast ) is crossing near North Sri Lanka coast. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may reach over Tamil Nadu Coast, India, during next 6 hrs. Weather is a few cloud  over the North Bay and East central  bay and partly cloudy to cloudy  over the  Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of October 2016

              The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise about ( 1- 2 ) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu,Katha, Thabeikyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu and Magway,and forecast to fall  about (3 - 5) feet at Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the second (10) days of October .

            The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise about (1 - 2) feet at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Mingin, Kani and Monywa during the second (10) days of October.
