26-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 415 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 405 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 430 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observation at (06:30) hrs M.S.T today, the depression over South China Sea crossed to the coast of Vietnam from Northern Danang. It is moving Westwards slowly as a land depression.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th October, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State, scattered in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of decrease of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
