26-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 415 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 405 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 430 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from the South Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea and the whole Myanmar areas. Weather has been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan State, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Bago Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Magway Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Pakokku (3.23)inches, Kyaukhtu (2.21)inches, Taungtha(Agro) (1.46)inches, Naypyitaw(Otarathiri) (1.30)inches, Hlaingbwe (1.18)inches, Belin (1.10)inches, Paingkyone (1.06) inches and Pinlaung (1.02)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and East Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs MST today, the land depression over Vietnam move westwards and it is forecast to weak gradually.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th October, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.
