3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Mandalay is (327) cm. It mayfall below the present water level by about (½)foot during the third (10) days of January, 2021 and may remain below its minimum alert water level (360) cm.
