BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved to North-Northeast wards. It is centered at about (120)miles Southeast of Vishakhapatnam (India), (215)miles South-Southwest of Paradip (India), (400)miles Southwest of Khepupara(Bangladesh). It is forecast to move Northeastwards towards Bangladesh coast during next (48)hrs. Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th November, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35)m.p.h.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered to fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, Chin and Rakhine States.
