SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, (Eastern and Southern) Shan and Kayah States, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Bago Region, Northern Shan and Kayin States, scattered in Lower Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Mon State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C)above November average temperatures in Bago Region, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (11°C) each in Loilin and Hkamti, (12°C) in Pinlaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfalls recorded were Kyauktaw (2.56)inches, Kyaukpyu (2.44)inches, Kyaukbataung (1.92)inches, Hkamti (1.61)inches, Sittwe (1.53)inches and Homalin (1.50)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th November, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in (Eastern and Southern)Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States.
