26-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 415 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 405 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 430 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kayah State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Chin State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (8°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin, Hkamti and Moekok, (9°C) each in Naungcho and Falam.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th November, 2016: Except likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region, weather will be generally fair in the whole country. Degree of certainty is (60%).
