 24-7-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move towards West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha Coasts, India during next 36 hours. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and gengrally fair elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL E OF THE 25th November, 2016: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region, weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon Region, Kachin, Chin, Shan (North and East), Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region and Mon State.
