26-10-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and intensified into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 410 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 415 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 445 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region, weather has been partly cloudy in Chin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) below November average temperature in Northern Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Magway Region, (Eastern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Loilin, (3°C) in Namsam, (5°C) each in Heho, Naungcho and Hakha.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Myeik (0.04)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and East Central Bay and patly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th November, 2016: Likelihood of isolated rain in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States and weather will be generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).
