29-6-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (7.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Solomon Islands) about (4850) miles Southeast of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (00) hrs (08) mins (42) secs M.S.T on 9^th December, 2016.
