30-6-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (4) miles West-Northwest of Thabeikkyin) about (62) miles North-Northwest of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (19)hrs (11)min (17)sec M.S.T on 4^th January, 2017.
