29-6-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (36) miles Northwest of Hkamti) about (305) miles Northwest of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (16)hrs (02)mins (08) secs M.S.T on 12^th January, 2017.
