SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) above January average temperature in Sagaing Region, Southern Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and (5°C) above January average temperatures in Chin and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C)each in Putao, Namsam and Pinlaung, (7°C)each in Heho and Hakha.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th January, 2017: Likelihood of isolated rain in Upper Sagaing, Kachin and Nothern Shan States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and (Southern & Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States..
