SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated in Kachin State, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperature in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and Chin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Namsam , (6°C) in Pinlaung, (7°C)each in Putao, Heho and Hakha. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Myitkyina (0.51) inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th January, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
