SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been isolated in Taninthayi Region and weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon Region, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures was (4°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperature was (40°C) in Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Kawthong (0.16)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd March, 2017: Rains are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
