29-6-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.2) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (Myanmar-India Border Region, about (28) miles Northwest of Homalin) about (240) miles Northwest of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (08)hrs (41)mins (53)secs M.S.T on 4^th March, 2017.
