SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions and Chin State and generally fair in Naypyitaw, Kayah and Kayin States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were about March average temperatures in the whole country. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Chauk and Bawlakhae and (39°C) in Aunglan. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Pauk (0.04)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th March, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Northen Rakhine,Kayah and Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
