29-6-2025: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (5) miles West- Southwest of Taik Kyi) about (22) miles Northwest of Kaba- Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (20)hrs (49)min (06)sec M.S.T on 13^rd March, 2017.
