24-2-2026 According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northweatwards and intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is likely continue to move West-Northwest during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Light rain have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Yangon Regions, weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below March average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and  Magway Regioins, Northern Shan and Chin States, (5°C) below March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (38°C) each in Aunglan, Zaung Tu, Shwegyin, Nyaunglaybin, Bawlakhae, Hpa-an, Kawkayeit, Mawlamyine, Belin and Theinzayet.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th March, 2017: Rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (60%).Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
