SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Light rain have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, weather has been generally fair in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State, partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were about March average temperatures in the whole country. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) in Bawlakhae and (39°C) in Chauk.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st March, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan and Rakhine States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
