3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Andaman Islands, India Region) about (355) miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (21)hrs (34)min (55)sec M.S.T on 2nd April, 2017.
