8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 3rd September, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Mandalay Region and (Eastern and Southern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Northern Shan and Chin States, widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw and Kachin State.
