1-12-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards weaken into a Deep Depression and it is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 40 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Channei. It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) and may weak into Depression during next 12 hrs. Weather is generally fair in the Andaman Sea, cloudy in Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

 Bay of Bengal Condition

        Low Pressure Areas may form over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will be moderate to strong  over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy days

Rain will be expected above normal in  Upper Sagaing, Kachin Chin and Rakhine states and about  normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions , Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Rainy days will be expected (7) to (9) days in  Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon,  Ayeyarwady and  Tanintharyi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin,  Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and (4) to (6) days  Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions.
