28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal and its may further intensify into a depression. Monsoon will be moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day 

Rain or thundershowers will be likely above normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Kayah States, below normal in Tanintharyi Region, Kachin State and about normal in NayPyiTaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwaddy Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (4) to (6) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and about (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
