It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean on 18-2-2026. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain condition and Rainy Day 

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, East Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon, (Northern and Southern) Shan States and about normal in West Bago, Upper Sagaing, Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States.

Rainy days are expected about 8 to 10 days in Naypyitaw, Yangon, East Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Southern Shan States and about 5 to 7 days in Mandalay, West Bago, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States.
