26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay Inference

A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal and its may further intensify into a depression. Southwest Monsoon is likely to withdraw from Northern Myanmar areas during (14-20) of September. Monsoon will be Weak to Moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day 

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Southern and Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about normal in NayPyiTaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States.

Rainy days are expected about (4) to (6) days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, West Bago Regions and Kayah State and about (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing, East Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
