Severe Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” Condition
According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, theSevere Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS”over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about (700) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island, (790) Nautical miles West-Southwest ofHainggyigyun(Myanmar), (130) Nautical miles East-Northeast of Jaffna (Sri Lanka) and (165) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” is coded yellow stage.

The Severe Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” is located at Latitude (10.8) degree North and Longitude (81.9) degree East, centre pressure of Deep Depression is (992) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (55-60) miles per hour at (05:30)hrs MST today.

It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and then weaken into a Cyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” during next (6)hrs. It is likely to cross North Tamilnaduand adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) between Puducherry and Sriharikota, near Mahabalipuramaround morning of (10.12.2022).
