Severe Cyclonic Storm “Asani”
According to the observations at (23:00)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “Asani” over West Central Bay of Bangal has moved West-Northwestwards. It iscentered at about (200) Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada, (195) Nautical miles Southeast of Vishakhapatnam, (275) Nautical miles South of Gopalpur, (310) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Puri (India), (500) Nautical miles Westof Coco-Island and (560) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Severe Cyclonic Storm “Asani” is coded yellow stage.

It is likely to weaken gradually into a Cyclonic Storm “Asani”during next (24)hrs and into a Deep Depression around (12.5.2022).
