25-10-2025:According to the observations at 11:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Westwards and further intensified into a depression. It is centered at about 330 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 530 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 540 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a deep depression on 26-10-2025 and Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining over Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

 Severe Tropical Storm “BUALOI” Condition

According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Typhoon “BUALOI” over the South China Sea has moved Northwestwards, downgraded into a Severe Tropical Storm “BUALOI” and crossed northern coastal areas of Vietnam between Vinh and Dong Hoi. It is continue to cross inland areas of Vietnam.

It is forecast likely to move West-Northwestwards and may continue to cross the boundary areas of Laos as a Tropical Storm “BUALOI” on today evening, inland areas of Laos as a Tropical depression on tonight and boundary areas of Myanmar as a Low pressure cell on morning of 30-9-2025.

General Caution

            Due to the reminant of cloud from the Severe Tropical Storm “BUALOI”, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with regionally and isolated heavyfalls in some region during today evening to 1-10-2025. Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

People should be awared the natural disasters such as the heavy rainfall with strong wind, thunder, Lightning strike, lightning, hails, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and to make necessary preparations for inland water transport, domestic flight and irrigation dams.
