It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean on 18-2-2026. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will be moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain condition and Rainy Day

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Northern and Eastern States, below normal in East Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State and about normal in NayPyiTaw, Magway, West Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (8) to (11) days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and  (5) to (7) days in Naypyitaw,  Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State.
