28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

 A Low Pressure Area may form over the North Bay of Bengal and it may further intensify into a depression. Monsoon will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Rain are likely to be expected above normal Taninthayi Region, Rakhine, Mon and Kayin States, about normal in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Kayah States.

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in Bago,  Yangon,  Ayeyarwady and  Taninthayi  Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon states and about (4) to (6) days in Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Chin and Kayah States.
